All faculty employed under a written contract for the fiscal or academic year are subject to the terms of their binding contract and must contact the President's Authorized Representative* within their organizational structure to negotiate a reasonable notice of resignation to ensure that mission critical operations are not hindered. 

*President's Authorized Representative (i.e., Section Chief, Department Chair) in concert with the administrative head of the School/Library (Dean, Director of Libraries, Associate Vice President or Vice President)
