Subcommittees of Standing
Committees
1. General Procedures
- Chairs of standing committees, in consultation with Executive
Committee, shall organize subcommittees at least bimonthly to carry out the work of the
standing committee.
- Chairs of standing committees shall select the Chairs of
subcommittees from the membership of the standing committee.
- Members of subcommittee shall be members of the faculty and shall
be selected by the subcommittee chair. Other individuals from the university or community,
with special expertise, may be invited to participate as resource persons.
- Duties and responsibilities of the subcommittees shall be
determined by the standing
- A written report of all activities shall be submitted to the
standing committee by July 1. A final report shall be submitted by July 15 for the
Academic Council report.
