Standards of Conduct
for the Facilities Management Division
We are protective of the assets of the taxpayers of the State of Georgia.
We will use the equipment and material provided by MCG to benefit the institution and for no other purpose unless we receive specific approval for such activity.
We acknowledge that the time for which MCG compensates us is an asset of the institution and we will utilize this time to accomplish MCG’s mission.
We recognize each employee’s right to work in a non-threatening environment and, therefore, do not tolerate harassing, threatening, or violent behavior in our workplace.
We view everyone as a potential customer for MCG.
We will treat each person with whom we have contact, while representing MCG, with dignity, courteousness, and respect.
We will be positive in our attitude and demeanor at all times.
We recognize the value of proper relationships with our suppliers.
We will accept no personal gifts from our suppliers whether or not any attempt to influence for favorable treatment is implied, expected, or stated by the supplier.
We will avoid conflicts of interest and any appearance of a conflict of interest with any supplier.
