Office of Emergency Medical Services -
The EMS Academy

The Office of EMS develops and manages training programs for pre-hospital medical providers. The Department of Emergency Medicine currently runs several nationally recognized courses such as the Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program, (CCEMTP).

The EMS Academy at the Medical College of Georgia offers, EMT-Basic, Intermediate and Paramedic Level training programs as well as numerous EMS Continuing education programs.  We offer quarterly EMS Continuing education conferences that are open to the public, ACLS, BTLS, First Responder, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and many other EMS educational programs to meet your needs. For more information on upcoming programs, please see the Emergency Medicine Training Calendar or contact John Martin at 706-721-3548 or .
