DONATIONS 

The Sickle Cell Center provides an opportunity for donations through the Medical College of Georgia Foundation. 

Opportunities for giving include:

1. Patient Emergency Fund – assists patients with travel expenses for services provided at the Medical College of Georgia; provides assistance for emergency medications; etc.

 

1. Research and Education Fund – assists with proving educational conferences for healthcare professionals in training and in service; ensures funds for sickle cell-related research through the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia

 

1. Endowed Chair – investment to ensure a steady stream of income for professorships, scholarships, fellowships, lectureships, book funds and many other purposes for those in the field of sickle cell disease
