Two interdisciplinary training grants from the National
Institutes of Health members are held by faculty members
in the Vascular Biology Center. Each of these awards
covers a 5-year funding period and is limited to U.S.
citizens or permanent residents.
The first is a Post-Doctoral Training Grant in
Integrative Cardiovascular Biology (5T32HL066993) held by
VBC director Dr. John Catravas. Composed of over 20
Investigators, the training grant supports training in
cardiovascular medical research topics ranging from
genomics and molecular biology to mechanistic,
integrative basic science studies to the application of
research findings to clinical populations. Six positions
are awarded to this application and appointment is
determined on a competitive basis.
To apply, please contact Program Director Dr. John

post-doctoral training grant, training in the full range
of cardiovascular disciplines is employed, linking basic
science to medical discovery. Four positions are offered
for support by this grant and appointment is determined
on a competitive basis.
