MCG Mobile & Faculty Choice

During the first of many faculty development workshops and demonstrations hosted by Instructional Support and Educational Design, two major initiatives were unveiled.

MCG Mobile: The mobile computing platform is growing at an astonishing rate particularly in our student demographics. We believe that students want mobile content ubiquitously and you will be able to see our first mobile services including instructional content debuted.

Faculty Choice: One of our goals is to provide faculty choice with a wide array of instructional technologies and tools. To kick off this initiative, by the start of the fall term, several computers in the podiums, classrooms and computer labs will be replaced. To maximize your flexibility and allow you to pick the tools that best meet your teaching needs, the computers will be able to run either the Windows or Macintosh (Apple) environments.
