What is “ADA CERP” for Continuing Education?
Recognizing the need to offer ADA members and the dental community a way to
select continuing education (CE) with confidence, and to promote the
continuous improvement of CE, the American Dental Association's Continuing
Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) was established in 1993. Through an
application and review process, the ADA CERP evaluates and recognizes
institutions and organizations that provide continuing education (CE).
The ADA CERP evaluates providers in 15 aspects of program quality. Only CE
providers that can meet the ADA CERP's standards and procedures are granted
ADA CERP approval and are authorized to use the ADA CERP logo and/or
approval statement on their publications. Once approved, CE providers are
held accountable for maintaining those same high standards. For more
information about the ADA CERP standards and procedures, to review the
current list of recognized providers, and other information about the ADA
CERP, go to http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/ce/cerp/index.asp.
