What is a leased
line?
A leased line is a permanent telephone connection
between two points set up by a telecommunications common carrier. Unlike
typical dial-up connections, a leased line is always active. The fee for the
connection is a fixed monthly rate. Because the connection doesn't carry
anybody else's communications, the carrier can assure a given level of
quality.
Text Only Pages
If your computer uses a dial-up connection and pages on the MCG web
site are loading slowly, use the
text only version and you can see the basic contents. If you want to
see the graphics associated with the page and are willing to wait for the
page to load, then use the regular web page.
