Course Description
As one of the most respected comprehensive implant dentistry training programs, presenters include approximately 31 renowned university faculty, world-class clinicians and the country's top authorities in implant dentistry.

The course will provide over 300 hours of lecture, laboratory sessions, live surgical demonstrations and home/office assignments. It will be presented, once a month, over a 10-month period. The written portion of the AAID Associate Fellow Membership Examination will be given during the December session. The September session is dedicated for the entire dental office staff to develop a team approach to implant dentistry.

This course is a must for all general dentists and specialists who want to be proficient in implant dentistry and become an Associate Fellow Member of the AAID.

Edward Mills, D.D.S., Co-Course Director
Dr. Mills, Past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Past Director of Emory Adventist Hospital’s Hospital-Based Residency Program, practices adult restorative dentistry in Atlanta. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology.

Roman Cibirka, D.D.S., M.S., Co-Course Director
Dr. Cibirka is Vice President for Instruction and Enrollment management and Associate Provost for Academic Affairs at the Medical College of Georgia. He is an Associate Professor of Oral Rehabilitation in the MCG School of Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics

Registration Information
The registration fee is $13,500 if registering prior to January 15, 2009; after January 15, 2009, the fee is $14,500. The course fee includes an extensive course CD, breaks, lunches, one formal evening reception and dinner.

You may make a deposit of $4,000 before January 15, or $5,000 if registering after January 15, with the balance due by August 30, 2009. The fee (or your deposit), less a $250 administrative charge, is refundable if notice of cancellation is received prior to February 20, 2009. There will be no refunds after this date. Attendance is limited and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Note: The registration fee also includes a 2009 AAID Membership. The registration fee does not include the $950 fee to take the AAID written exam.

Location/Lodging
The March session will be held at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. The remaining sessions will be held in the Atlanta area. Sessions will begin at 8 a.m. The last day of each session generally ends around 5 p.m. Lodging information for Augusta hotels, a map of the Medical College of Georgia campus and Atlanta hotel information will be sent upon receipt of your registration.
