Dental Digital
Photography

OVERVIEW
This course will offer technical information on digital
photography, equipment limitations and selection, file management, software
solutions and some hands-on use of various cameras. Information on using
digital cameras in the dental office and for personal use will be
provided to help optimize the photos produced with digital equipment. Use of
photo manipulation and presentation software and DVD creation will
also be discussed. Camera owners are encouraged to bring their cameras to
adjust settings and make test shots.

COURSE DIRECTOR
Kevin
D. Plummer, DDS, Associate Professor in the MCG Department of Oral
Rehabilitation, School of Dentistry, received his DDS from Emory University and is certified by
the American Board of Prosthodontics. He is Clinical Supervisor in
Prosthodontics at pre-and-post graduate levels and serves as Assistant Director of the
Graduate Prosthodontics Program. Dr. Plummer's clinical interests focus on
removable prosthodontics to include complete and partial dentures and
implant supported prostheses.

The registration fee for the course is $95 for a dentist and $90 for dental
staff. Early registration is encouraged to secure your place in the course.
The registration fee is refundable, less a $35 administrative charge, if
notice of cancellation is received by February 16, 2007.
