Accessibility to Disabled PersonsThe Medical College of Georgia's physical facilities and institutional programs have been modified in accordance with federal law and regulations to allow equally effective access by disabled persons. Structural changes, such as adaptations to public restrooms and construction of ramps and curb cuts, have been made to improve accessibility. Special services may be made available on a reasonable basis in accordance with reported needs of individual disabled students. In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans With Disabilities Act, it is the policy of the Medical College of Georgia to insure that all students with disabilities are afforded equal opportunity and access to programs and facilities. Students are encouraged to identify their disability so that the medical college can determine what reasonable accommodation may be made. Please contact Dr. Randy Butterbaugh, Director of Student Affairs, to self-identify. |
