Cancer Center Flow Cytometry Laboratory

The Flow Cytometry Laboratory is a Cancer Center-subsidized shared resource. Its function is to provide high-quality, cost-effective, state-of-the-art flow cytometry and multiparameter cell-sorting instrumentation and associated expertise and services to all Cancer Center and Immunotherapy department investigators.


A sufficient user base already existed among the two departments’ members to warrant forming a departmental resource when the Cancer Research Center opened in 2006.


The facility permits maximum and efficient utilization of the equipment and serves to enhance the quality and scope of scientific research performed for those investigators at MCG, the health sciences university of the University System of Georgia.


The MCG Cancer Center’s Flow Cytometry Laboratory is located in the Cancer Research Center, room CN 4127. Inquiries concerning access to the facility should be directed to its manager, William King.
