Focus: trends in cancer treatment and prevention

When cancer research makes a breakthrough with a new drug or strategy, it rightfully stirs up a lot of excitement. But turn the spotlight on day-to-day work in laboratories and clinics and you will find encouragement and some amazing successes. Weekly Research-In-Progress meetings at The MCG Cancer Center give affiliated researchers and guest speakers an opportunity to update their colleagues on such successes. The gatherings typically draw an enthusiastic crowd from across the MCG campus.
