Anyone with a valid MCG or MCG –HI photo ID may open an ExpressCard account!

Eliminate the need to carry cash or exact change for purchases around campus by transforming your current MCG ID card into an MCG EXPRESS CARD. By properly activating and encoding your MCG ID card, you can make purchases with one swipe at  campus locations that include the: MCG Bookstore, Student Center Food Services, Student Health, Library, Terrace Dining Room hospital dining facilities, CMC McDonald’s, print labs, and select vending and copier machines.

You swipe your ID through the card readers at these locations, and access the pre-deposited funds called “Express Dollar$” that you have designated for your campus purchases. You will open your account to use the photo-copiers and computer lab printing in the MCG Library and Student Center.

The card is also used to manage and access several “special” institution sponsored benefits and programs including the HOUSESTAFF DINING meal funds and the DEPARTMENTAL COPY privilege. Participating locations routinely offer special discounts on purchases made with your MCG Express Card.  

The MCG EXPRESS CARD program allows you to plan, budget, and track your campus spending. It is secure and convenient, saving you both time and money. You may activate your card and account anytime at the MCG Express Card office located in the Student Center, DA-1020.
