You can pick up your name badge(s) at the registration desk located on the second floor of the Marriott Hotel & Suites. Your name badge(s) will serve as tickets to Homecoming events.
Registration desk hours of operation:
Thursday, April 23 9-2:00 p.m.
Friday, April 24 9-3:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 25 9-3:00 p.m.
Where should I go first upon arrival?
Pick up your name badge(s) at the registration desk. Registration and information for Homecoming is available on the 2nd floor of the Marriott Hotel & Suites (Two Tenth Street) from 9 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday. This is a great place to find out details on locations for all homecoming activities, as well as pick up name badge(s)
Is there a place where MCG Alumni can gather and talk?
The Alumni Association will be hosting a hospitality suite in the Terrace Room at the Marriott Hotel & Suites during homecoming. The hospitality suite will be open from 3 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
How will I know if any of my friends/classmates are attending?

How do I get directions to event sites?

Where do I park at event sites?
Please see the MCG campus map for all available parking on campus. Homecoming weekend parking on-campus is unrestricted or call 800-269-1113 or 706-721-8596.
For Thursday and Friday events, please check with the event coordinator for parking specifics.
Where is the mall and other area attractions?
The Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will have a booth next to our registration desk. Please visit the Convention Bureau’s booth for more information, or check out the CVB’s website at http://www.augustaga.org
Augusta:
Will I need to register for an event, if there is not a fee for the event, or can I just drop-in?
YES, please register! The event coordinator needs to know how many people to expect so that they can plan accordingly for meals, handouts and seating capacity. Register and let us know you’re planning to attend.
Will there be opportunity to meet the President and/or the Provost?
The President and his wife host a wonderful picnic for all attendees, guest and families. The President and the provost will be in attendance.
What kind of lodging is available for Homecoming?
The Office of Alumni Relations has reserved rooms at several area hotels for those alumni and friends attending Homecoming. For a full list of area hotels and reunion assignments, please check our accommodations page.
What is the standard dress at Homecoming/Reunion events?
Most events at Homecoming are business attire, although the Alumni banquets on Saturday night and the Reunion dinners are semi formal. Casual get-togethers will be casual. Please refer to the Homecoming Brochure for specific events or visit the Schedule of Events for your school.
Can I pay at the event?
Yes, payment with credit card or check will be accepted at the event. We apologize, we cannot accept cash at event sites. We can also bill you.
Can I register or pay on-line?
Yes, for most events. Click here to register and pay on-line.
What if I have to cancel my registration?
For cancellations received by April 20, a full refund will be made after May 15. If you cancel your registration after, April 20, there will not be a refund.
Where can I purchase MCG paraphernalia?
You can purchase MCG paraphernalia at the campus bookstore. During homecoming week, the campus bookstore will be open on Thursday and Friday form 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, the hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The bookstore's website is http://www.mcg.edu/bookstore and phone number, 706.721.3581.
The bookstore is located in the Student Center at the corner of 15th Street and Laney Walker Boulevard.
Is there a fitness center on campus?
During Homecoming, the Wellness Center will be free to all visiting alumni. Hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For further information on the Wellness Center please call 706.721.6800 or visit the Web site at http://www.mcg.edu/wellness/.
