Illustration entitled "Excess" by alum, Charles Boyter ('74, Medical Illustration). This editorial Illustration was created to depict what has become an epidemic of excessive obesity in the population.  The person's view looking down is obstructed by his abdomen resulting in difficulty seeing the readout on the scales.

Charles is an experienced medical illustrator.  His areas of specialization includes all media with an emmphasis on airbrush and line art. Charles is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators and a Certified Medical Illustrator. he currently works in the field of medical legal art.

This illustration, along with others will be on display at the The O. A Parkes Symposium and Art Exhibition on Saturday, April 25 at the 2nd Floor of the Marriott Hotel & Suites.
