| MCG and the Augusta medical community-in collaboration with the University of Georgia and the Athens medical community-intend to play a significant role in this initiative by capitalizing on existing strengths in cancer education, research, and clinical care and by pursuing strategic directions, hopefully resulting in the designation of the Augusta area as a Georgia Cancer Coalition Center of Excellence. | |
