Roman M. CibirkaDr. Roman Cibirka serves as MCG's vice president for instruction and enrollment management as well as associate provost, functioning as the provost's chief advisor on academic affairs, strategic management of educational programs, instructional effectiveness and academic assessment. Dr. Cibirka joined the MCG School of Dentistry faculty in 1996 as assistant professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation and was named an associate professor in 2001 and associate vice president for academic affairs in 2002.
Prior to joining MCG, Dr. Cibirka maintained a practice limited to prosthodontics in Michigan and was a faculty member at the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit schools of dentistry. Dr. Cibirka maintains an active intramural clinical practice. His research interests include dental implants, biocompatibility of dental materials and the reconstruction of complex patients.
