Training Requirements: |

All prospective irradiator operators must complete the Initial 6 hour Radiation Safety training class for research personnel and the annual refresher course as required. |

Review this presentation in full. |

Correctly demonstrate the normal irradiator operating procedures to Dr. Anatolij Horuzsko or Dr. Patricia Schoenlein |
|
Correctly demonstrate the use of a Ion-chamber survey meter to an authorized user of the irradiator. |
|
Correctly "walk through" simulated emergency procedures with an authorized irradiator operator. |
|
Note that the new user, a Principal Authorized User, and the Radiation Safety Officer must sign and date the form which can be accessed following completion of the training material. |
