Intramural Grants Program (IGP) Purpose
All applications are evaluated on the: 1) scientific merit of the proposed studies; 2) specificity and likelihood of success of the plans for seeking extramural funding; 3) contribution of the proposed research to the goals of the specific external funding program under which support will be requested; and 4) contribution of the research to targeted areas of strength at the MCG. (When the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications will be accepted the next business day.) Eligibility Dr. Darrell Brann, Betty Aldridge, Wanda Prince, An applicant who already holds an IGP award may not simultaneously apply for a second award without prior approval by the Vice President for Research. An applicant who has previously received and completed an IGP award may submit a new proposal on a separate topic, but must provide evidence of extramural funding or application for extramural funding resulting from the previous IGP award.
