Graduate Student Training

During the early years of development, the Dermatology training grant enabled a number of graduate students to obtain training in laboratories. One of the students obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, another went on to graduate from medical school, and another is a Research Director for a major pharmaceutical company. A number of Japanese physicians have had fellowships during the years and through their experiences at MCG have fostered significant international cooperation between the Department and various Dermatology departments in Japan.
