Clinical Cardiovascular Research at the Medical College of Georgia

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the United States.  Investigating the mechanisms of various types of cardiovascular disease is essential to the development of new treatments that save lives.  Cardiovascular Research at the Medical College of Georgia is focused on achieving a greater understanding of normal structure and function as well as the development of disease processes.
