Faculty Recognition Committee

Composition
This standing committee shall be chaired by the Secretary and shall include the Vice-President, previous chairman of this committee, and two other senators who shall be elected in the customary way. The term of office shall be for one year.

Function
This committee shall annually solicit the faculty for nominations for distinguished faculty awards. The committee will select the faculty, from those nominated, they determine are deserving of recognition. The committee shall also insure that retiring faculty are appropriately recognized.
