Committee on Committees

Composition

1. This standing committee shall be composed of five members, including the President-Elect, two members-at-large form the Faculty Senate Executive Committee appointed by the President-Elect, and two members-at-large elected in the usual way from the Faculty Senate. The committee will serve a term of one year.
2. A senator other than an officer of the Senate may not serve more than two consecutive terms.

Function

1. This committee shall prepare a list of nominees for offices and committees of the Faculty Senate, except those specifically chosen by the Nominating Committee. This list shall be presented to the Executive Committee for approval.
2. The committee shall select nominees to serve as representatives from the Academic Council to the Faculty Senate Executive Committee.
3. It is the responsibility of this committee to contact the nominees for elected position to ascertain their willingness to serve, should they be elected by the Senate.
4. The Committee on Committees shall present a list of nominees to the Executive Committee by June.
