Course Description

The student will be working under a general practitioner who has agreed to assist in medical student teaching. The elective will provide the student with a supervised experience in the evaluation and
management of patients with clinical problems encountered in the proactive of Family Medicine. The student will participate in office practice and hospital rounds as well as house calls and community activities as they arise. In addition, the student will be exposed to the practice of Family medicine in a foreign country and a
different system of medicine than that in the U.S.
