Kelli M. Braun, MD, joined the MCG Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty in July 2008, after completing her residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Georgia, and then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Medical Student Education for the Department and offers two clinical offices, one on campus and one in Evans. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy as well as gynecologic office procedures. |

Angela G. Duke, MD, joined the MCG Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty in September 2009, after moving to Augusta from Tacoma, WA. There, she had a dual role as staff physician in a large group practice and as obstetrics/gynecology teaching faculty to the Tacoma Family Medicine residency program. Dr. Duke is a graduate of the University of Alabama-Birmingham Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. Prior to that, she attended medical school at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she earned her medical degree and a Masters in Public Health. Though she practices full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology, areas of special interest include vaginal and vulvar disorders, adolescent care, and high risk obstetrics. |

Erin Z. Holsten, MD, joined the Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty in July 2006, just after completing her residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her undergraduate education at Birmingham-Southern College, prior to attending medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. She currently runs an active OB-GYN practice, with offices on campus and in Evans, in addition to serving as Director of Medical Student Education for the department. Professional interests include contraceptive and hormone therapy, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. |

Lioudmila Lipetskaia, MD, native of Russia, joined MCG Obstetrics and Gynecology Department in July 2009 after completing her residency training at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. She attended medical school in Russia and was extensively involved in basic science research at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. She speaks fluently Russian and Ukrainian. Her particular areas of interest are urogynecology, pelvic floor disorders and urinary incontinence. |

John Lue, M.D, joined the MCG in May 2008. He came from a large private practice where he was a senior associate and now serves as an advisor. He graduated from Mercer University with a degree in Biochemistry and received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. He has served as the Chair and Vice-chair for the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta Georgia, a level three Perinatal Center. He has formerly been on faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine and at Emory University School of Medicine in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently the Director of Labor and Delivery at The Medical College of Georgia. He specializes in laparoscopic surgery and bloodless medicine. He believes that nothing is more important in a persons life than faith and family. |

Brian Murray, MD, A native of Jamaica, joined the the MCG Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty in 2009 just after completing his residency training at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr Murray is committed to providing excellent care for women of all ages. Special interest include high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. |

Chadburn B. Ray, MD, joined the MCG Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty in 2006. After undergraduate education at the College of Charleston, he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. He practiced retail pharmacy in Aiken, SC and hospital pharmacy at the MUSC Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SC before returning to medical school. He graduated from the MUSC College of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Ray is a graduate of the MCG Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program where he was Administrative Chief Resident. He currently serves as the Associate Residency Program Director. His interests include high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and healthcare measures in resident education. |

Robert T. Zabenko,DO, joined the MCG General Gynecology Team in July 2008 after retiring from twenty seven years in the U.S. Army. He was Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center on Fort Gordon. He initially served as an enlisted Laboratory Technician, graduated from the Army Physician Assistant Program, then from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Obstetrics and Gynecology training was at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Interests are in Women’s Health and General Obstetric and Gynecologic care and surgery. His first grandchild was born in March 2009! |
