A twelve month, non-tenure track position in the Department of Biomedical and Radiological Technologies (BRT), School of Allied Health Sciences. Primary position responsibilities are coordinating recruitment, admissions, and advisement processes for all departmental graduate and undergraduate programs in Clinical Laboratory Science, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Dosimetry, Nuclear Medicine Technology, and Radiation Therapy; assisting the departmental chair with program-related administrative tasks; assisting with development and delivery of discipline specific courses; coordinating the process of establishing and maintaining clinical affiliation agreements; and providing research, scholarly activities, and professional service in accordance with effort allocation.
Applicants must have a Masters Degree (Ph.D. preferred) or be enrolled in a program related to clinical laboratory science education with enrollment in a doctoral program expected), with credentials in clinical laboratory science (medical technology). Requirements are a minimum of two years clinical experience, with teaching in clinical laboratory science preferred. Experience with Banner, One45, and web-based learning platforms (e.g., WebCT) is strongly recommended. Applicants must have demonstrated interpersonal, technical, and educational skills for organization and delivery of professional discipline content, curriculum implementation, instruction, counseling, and evaluation.
