Because you determine the needs of others to outweigh the needs of self; because you continue learning new methods and techniques to keep your skills at the highest level; because you endure misunderstandings about your profession and seek only to contribute more; because you remain focused on patients, their families, and students even during the most trying times; and because you count yourself among the largest group of health care professions that contribute mightily to improving health and the health care system, please accept these words of gratitude for all your meaningful work and service to others!
Take time to celebrate the accomplishments of those allied health professionals that have gone before us and also try to bring awareness to someone who has yet to learn about the incredible efforts and careers afforded by allied health.
