Technical Standards for the Admissions and
Graduation
of Students
|
The following standards are developed under the premise
that the student:

can be reasonably expected to meet such standards on
admission
-
maintains the validity of this expectation throughout his progress
through the curriculum
-
meets the minimal level of competence established for each course,
and,
With reasonable accommodations, the student must be able
to:

Receive information via lecture, videotape, slides, class
discussion, texts, computer-assisted instruction, films and
audiocassettes; communicate his level of understanding and raise
questions for clarification.

Demonstrate the ability to successfully carry out assignments at
practicum sites.

Understand and follow instructions from
HIM employees, and faculty; communicate level of
understanding and raise questions for clarification.
After appropriate instruction, with minimal assistance from
others, the student must be able to meet the Domains, Sub-domains, and
Tasks for Registered Health Information Administrators. |
