Dr. Yoon-Ho Seol wins the SAHS Faculty Research Award

Dr. Seol, assistant professor in the Department of Health Informatics, is co-investigator of a study using electronic personal health records for patients with hypertension. The three-year, $1.2 million study is funded by the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality. Dr. Seol measures verbal communication during patients' office visits and electronic communication using the Web-messaging component of the electronic records.
