Thank you so much for your interest in our diagnostic medical sonography program. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science degree with a major in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Our program is accredited by the Council on the Accreditation of Allied Health Sciences and is a 2+2, which means that it requires that 2 years of general college requirements (60 hours) be completed at a college or university and the final 2 years would be completed in our diagnostic medical sonography program.

We require an interview for the admissions process. I would encourage you to visit our program on days that we have Closer Look sessions to meet with our faculty.

The application deadline is March 1. Classes begin each fall (August) semester only. Please visit the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Admissions Information page to obtain the most current program information.

To apply to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Bachelor of Science program you may submit an online application form. Click

Apply Online at the top of this page to begin the 2008-2009 application process.

If you have taken college courses already, your next step would be to request an unofficial transcript evaluation (to find out if the classes will transfer into core requirements required by MCG), please fax or mail all of your college transcripts to:
