A tenure track faculty position is available in the School of Allied Health Sciences’ Physical Therapy Program.  We are looking for a senior level individual to provide leadership in research.  Strong departmental and institutional support for research augments a variety of opportunities to establish collaborative relationships within the institution and community. Qualifications for the position include a doctoral degree; a sustained record of external funding; an established record of collaborative research with other professionals, clinicians and students; and a record of publication, funding, scholarship and professional services consistent with the rank of associate to full professor.

The Medical College of Georgia is the state’s health sciences university with the tripartite mission of teaching, advancing knowledge and providing patient care.  The university has 2,000 students in its Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Studies, Medicine and Nursing and approximately 420 residents and fellows completing advanced training in medicine and dentistry.  Clinical facilities include the adult MCG Hospital, the Children’s Medical Center and more than 80 specialty clinics and centers.  MCG has a comprehensive biomedical sciences research program with focuses on cancer, infection & inflammation, and neurological and cardiovascular diseases.
