Thank you for your interest in the Medical College of Georgia’s (MCG) Occupational Therapy (OT) program. MCG offers a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Occupational Therapy degree. Please note the OT point of entry into the profession is at the master’s level. MCG applicants do not need to complete a baccalaureate degree prior to MCG’s admissions. Graduate applicants need to complete the required 90 hours of pre-requisites. Upon successful completion of curriculum requirements, the MCG OT graduates are awarded a Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy degree (MHSOT).
MCG's ACCREDITATION
The MCG OT program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). The program received a 10-year accreditation until 2010 and ensures the curriculum complies with ACOTE’s Standards (2006).
