Mrs. Domyslawski is an Assistant Professor and Interim Chair of Occupational Therapy in the School of Allied Health Sciences. She teaches professional reasoning, pediatrics, and school system practice. She is also the Academic Fieldwork coordinator for the program and is responsible for both Level I and Level II fieldwork placements. She is currently President of the AHS Practice Group Board of Directors for the School of Allied Health Sciences. She has served as a member of the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy since July, 2003. She received the School’s Distinguished Service Award in 2007.

Dr. Bradley is a Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She has joint appointments in the School of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Graduate Studies. Dr. Bradley is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia’s BS in OT program (1975); Masters of Health Sciences in OT (1980) and the University of Georgia’s Doctorate of Education (1991). Dr. Bradley teaches foundational occupational therapy knowledge, advanced practice motor control therapies, neurorehabilitation, nd professional management content. Dr. Bradley is a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She was the School of Allied Health Sciences' Outstanding Faculty member in 2003. Her research focuses on low vision rehabilitation, neurocognition, distance education, and management. Dr. Bradley serves on the editorial review board for several professional journals and consults on distance education efforts and building interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Her publications include text chapters and articles in refereed journals.

Dr. D’Amico is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy in the Schools of Allied Health Sciences and Graduate Studies. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University and her Advanced Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. She holds a Doctoral Degree from Spalding University. Dr. D’Amico is Board Certified in Pediatrics from the American Occupational Therapy Association. She is on the editorial review boards for the American Journal of Occupational Therapy and the International Journal of Rehabilitation Research. She is a Governor’s Teaching Fellow. Her teaching and interest areas include Wellness/Illness, Mental Health, Coping and Adaptation, Community Interventions, Sensory Integration, Low Vision, Aging in Place at Home and Work, Pediatrics, School Systems and Early Intervention. Her publications include chapters and articles.

Sharon Cosper, MHS, OTR/L is an Assistant Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy. Her teaching areas include a variety of curriculum related to intervention for both adult and pediatric populations. Current research includes investigating the correlation between visual perceptual processing and handwriting performance in pediatric populations, low vision and quality of occupational performance, the efficacy of occupational therapy in adults with degenerative diseases, and the efficacy of various treatment techniques for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She also participates in part-time practice at a local, pediatric clinic through MCG’s Practice Plan.

Dr. Gibson is Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, School of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Graduate Studies. Dr. Gibson teaches research and mental health courses in the OT curriculum. In addition to being an occupational therapist, Dr. Gibson is also a medical anthropologist. Dr. Gibson’s areas of research include efficacy of OT mental health practice, health disparities, sickle cell disease, health care transition and qualitative research methods. Dr. Gibson collaborates with the MCG Sickle Cell Center, serves as a member of the Southeast Newborn Screening and Genetics Collaborative, AOTA’s Transition Task Force, and reviews for the American Journal of Occupational Therapy and the Journal of Pediatrics. Dr. Gibson was a Georgia Governor’s Teaching Fellow during the 2007-08 academic year.

Dr. Herz is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Herz graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in OT; his MBA is from Averett College in Virginia, followed by his OTD degree at Creighton University. His research interests are in the
areas of Parkinson’s disease and the use of the wii and wiifit game system and how it relates to rehabilitation. He is a member of the AOTA AMSIS special interest committee as the research liaison and collaborates with the Department of Neurology on movement disorder research.
Dr. Herz treats clients in the Movement Disorder Clinic through the School of Allied Health
Sciences’ Faculty Practice Plan.

Dr. Iyer is an Assistant Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences and Graduate Studies’ Department of Occupational Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia. Her areas of interest are neuroscience and cultural and linguistic competency. Her research focus is to identify and facilitate mechanisms of human neuroplasticity in health and disease. Dr. Iyer serves on the Executive Board of the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association, and as the Vice-President of the Association of Asian/Pacific Occupational Therapists in America. Dr. Iyer was the recipient of a 2008 Service Certificate from the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association. Her publications include book chapters and articles in refereed journals.

Lynn Jaffe, ScD, OTR/L

Dr. Jaffe is an Associate Professor in the Schools of Allied Health Sciences and Graduate Studies. She teaches Evidence Based Practice, Research Process, Project Development, Lifespan Development, and mentors students in research projects. She was the recipient of the 2004 Outstanding Faculty Award for the School of Allied Health and the Governor’s Teaching Fellowship in 2002-03. Dr. Jaffe serves nationally as a member of the American Journal of Occupational Therapy Editorial Review Board. Locally, she is a collaborator with Project SCEIs (Skilled Credentialed Early Interventionists). Her publications include two chapters in a healthcare education textbook, two chapters in occupational therapy textbooks, and several refereed journal articles. In addition, Dr. Jaffe is a wife, mother of twin sons, and professional storyteller.

Dr. Lee is a neuropsychologist and has a joint appointment with the School of Allied Health Sciences’ Department of Occupational Therapy and the School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology. Dr. Lee teaches the Neuroscience course and mentors faculty and students’ research efforts. Dr. Lee also serves as a departmental and graduate student research mentor. He is the editor and/or reviewer of several neuropsychology journals. He has published numerous referred professional journal articles. His research focuses on neuropsychological issues for various populations with neurological conditions.

Dr. Paul is an Associate Professor in the Schools of Allied Health Sciences and Graduate Studies for the Department of Occupational Therapy, Medical College of Georgia. He teaches adult physical dysfunction courses, assistive technology, and Wellness-Illness courses. He serves as an editorial board member of Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Journal of Allied Health. His current clinical work and research interests focuses on adult and geriatric populations. His research and publications focus on evidence based occupational therapy practice involving diverse age groups and across life span.

Sharon Swift, MS, OTR/L

Mrs. Swift received her bachelor’s of science in Special Education from the University of South Florida. After several years teaching children with disabilities in the educational environment, she sought a degree in Occupational Therapy. She completed a post-baccalaureate certificate in OT from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration. Mrs. Swift is currently completing her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at Augusta State University. She also holds a specialty certification as an Assistive Technology Practitioner through RESNA (Rehab Engineering Society of North America). She shares her greatest accomplishments are her four children: Sam, Alexandra, Kathryn and Caroline.

Mrs. Thompson is a temporary professional hired within the Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Allied Health Sciences at the Medical College of Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1983. Supportive teaching areas of interest include Development of Lifespan Occupations, Assistive Technology, Community Interventions, and Therapeutic Adaptations. Mrs. Thompson received the Outstanding Clinician Award for the School of Occupational Therapy in 2008. Ms. Thompson plans and coordinates numerous adaptive community based leisure programs for children and adults.

Dr. Webb is an Associate Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Graduate Studies and the School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Webb has obtained several grants and published numerous articles related to the needs of children. Dr. Webb also oversees the management and quality of MCG’s Childcare Center. She teaches Contemporary Practice within the Department of OT and serves as a research mentor.
