Typical Interview Day

The Night Before:
• Arrive at the Partridge Inn, a lovely historic hotel, dating to 1892.
• 6:30-7:00pm: Mingle with fellow applicants and residents on the Verandah
• 7:00-9:00pm: Dinner

The Day of:
• 7:00am: Breakfast at the Partridge Inn
• 7:30am: Meet the Chief Residents in the Verandah
• 7:45am: Introduction by Dr. Madaio, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and Dr. Haburchak, Residency Program Director
• 8:00am: Morning Report
• 8:45am: About the Residency Program: Dr. Merchen and Dr. Thornton, Assistant Residency Program Directors
• 9:00am: Break
• 9:05am: Chief Resident Welcome
• 9:20am: All About Augusta and Q&A with residents
• 9:45am: Tour of MCG/VA
• 10:30am: Interview A
• 11:10am: Interview B
• 11:45am: Meet at the Medicine Library to depart for lunch
• 12:00pm: Lunch at a local restaurant
• 1:30pm: Tour of Augusta
• 2:30pm: Arrive back at the Partridge Inn--The Day is Complete!
