David J. Terris, M.D., F.A.C.S.
David Terris is the Edward S.
Porubsky Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Department of
Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a
Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1984. He received his medical
degree with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from Duke University in 1988. He
completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Stanford University in 1993,
and this was followed by a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery
(1994), also at Stanford. Dr. Terris joined the faculty at Stanford, was
promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2001 and was appointed
Program Director in 2001. In 2002 he was recruited to the Medical College
of Georgia.
