Populate an EndNote Library: Direct Export method (Ovid)
Ovid MEDLINE and Ovid CINAHL, ScienceDirect
From Ovid's MEDLINE or CINAHL databases:
- Search Ovid MEDLINE or CINAHL.
- From Ovid's Citation Manager found at the bottom of every result page (Fig. 7):
- Citations - select citations to be saved (maximum of 200 per save; use Range feature to send several sets of references if saving more than 200).
- Fields - choose Complete Citation.
- Citation Format - choose Direct Export.
- Action - click Save.
- EndNote opens - select EndNote Library to receive references (citations).

From ScienceDirect
- Search ScienceDirect
- Mark recrods for saving. Click Display Checked Docs (confirm saved records)(Fig. 8).
- Click Export Citations.
- Select citations, export Citations+Abstracts, and RIS file format(Fig. 9).
- Click Export.
- Choose and EndNote Library.
