Research Goals To support MCG's goal of enhancing its status as a research institution by selecting, organizing, and providing access to information resources critical to the mission of the institution, especially in the research areas of molecular medicine and genetics, immunology, health services research (preventive health care; telemedicine; health of minorities, women, and underserved), aging, and applied biomedical research Involve all library faculty in research and scholarly activities Provide effective and efficient information resources to researchers specializing in the MCG research priority areas Provide MCG clinical/ applied researchers with information resources which impact patient care Represent MCG research information needs by advocating for fair access by libraries to the electronic resources provided by publishers and vendors Partner with University System of Georgia (USG) institutions to enhance research-level resources available statewide or among the four research institutions of the USG Expand access to Special Collections services and facilities for institutional and historical research Increase development initiatives for Special Collections and the Greenblatt Library   "Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
