Southern Medical and Surgical Journal 1836

Southern Medical and Surgical Journal
First published in June 1836, the Southern Medical and Surgical Journal (SMSJ) was the project of Dr. Milton Antony to start the publication of a journal written by the medical college's faculty. It was the first of its kind in the South with the idea of publishing articles by Georgia's physicians and collecting medical information internationally. Dr. Joseph Eve, one of the editors, signed this volume.
