Ledger 1830s

This ledger belonged to Drs. Dugas and Paul Eve. In the top entry dated June 13, 1832, Dr. Dugas wrote that all accounts entered in this book previously were his payments. However, all future accounts were paid to the firm of Dugas and Eve. At the bottom, on Jan(?) 1835, Dr. Eve wrote that he was transferring to Dr. Dugas all of his "claims, rights, and titles to the accounts due to the late firm of Dugas and Eve" which had expired last January, except for one patient.
