Guidelines for Use of Electronic
Classrooms
- The electronic
classrooms are rooms 127 (30 workstations) and 163 (14 workstations).
- Use of the
electronic classrooms to support the educational needs of MCG faculty,
staff, and students has highest priority.
- The MCG Library
staff schedule which room will be reserved, based on the size of the
user group and their equipment/software needs.
- It is not
permissible to bring food and drink of any kind into the electronic
classrooms, with the exception of the instructor, who may have water in
a securely enclosed container.
- Students must be
supervised when using an electronic classroom. The instructor or
proctor will be held accountable for room and/or equipment misuse.
- No software may be
downloaded to any workstations in the electronic classrooms except by
the Library Technical Services staff or with their written
pre-approval. If additional and/or upgraded software is needed, please
contact a member of the Library Technical Services team.
- MCG Library
Administrative staff must be notified beforehand when non-MCG persons,
vendors, or organizations are planning to use an electronic classroom to
teach MCG faculty, staff, or students. A room fee will be charged to
non-MCG people or organizations who charge fees for their class. The
MCG Library reserves the right to charge room use fees for any
use of the electronic classrooms by non-MCG people or organizations.
Room Use Fees:
Non-Profit
Organizations: $250 half day; $500 full day
For-Profit
Organizations: $500 half day; $1,000 full day
