Annual Progress in Strategic Planning
The Library Management Council held several strategic
planning sessions to identify, discuss and prioritize Library program needs.
Primary liaisons were selected to write narratives of justification, prepare
budgets and document cost-benefit analyses. Sharing a vision for
grassroots development and fund-raising, a Library team and the Interim Vice
President of University Advancement met in the spring to discuss MCG's
development programs and explore additional sources of Library funding. A
Library development and fund-raising portfolio was organized and presented.
Recommendations included development of a brochure to highlight data-driven
Library needs and compilation of a list of names with potential interest in
Library funding support.
