RESEARCH priority: Become a leading center of excellence in research and scholarship
  
1.0  Library faculty and staff provided effective and efficient access to quality resources supporting expansion of research activities.
1.1 Examined current collection in relation to research priority areas and increased research related journal title subscriptions by more than 100
1.2 Provided an Electronic Materials database for easy identification and access to full text materials
1.3 Continually added and updated electronic full text access resources
1.4 Filled over 3,000 requests for copies of articles efficiently
1.5 Hosted a molecular biology resources workshop taught by NCBI scientists with 85 registrants.
2.0 Library Faculty kept researchers informed of issues related to scholarship and fair access.
2.1 Wrote educational articles
2.2 Met with faculty to provide up-to-date information on Library resources and services
2.3 Organized and facilitated satellite teleconference on Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA)
3.0 Library Faculty added to knowledge and scholarship as librarians through publications, grants, and professional activities, primarily in leadership roles for local state, regional and national professional organizations.
