I. Welcome and Introduction – Patrick Hatch

Patrick called the meeting to order.

II. Agenda Item 1

Drawing for Mocha Mahn certificate

· All submissions received (with a name) via email and through the Beeper were included in the drawing for a Mocha Mahn gift certificate. Linda Owens is the winner for the quarter.

III. Agenda Item 2

Procedural Items

· A new chairperson will be voted on at the next meeting scheduled in July.

· The new chairperson will need to arrange for the scheduling of the library conference room for the meetings and should continue to attend the President’s Cabinet meetings.

· The EAC will continue to do called meetings in addition to the regularly scheduled quarterly meetings.

Beeper Submissions

· There are no new submissions at this time.

V. Agenda Item 4

Election Process

· The election process is scheduled for June 1-15. A notice will be sent out to the campus on June 1.

· Patrick reviewed the list of nominees submitted. Six new positions will be available plus one member-at-large position.

· It was noted that all campus employees are eligible to vote for all nominees, not just for a nominee from their specific department.

VI. Agenda Item 5

New Business

· The council discussed opportunities that may be available to boost morale that are geared toward the campus.
