Parking and Crosswalk Issues
·
Reviewed a handout with questions that
have been asked regarding parking. Concern was expressed over the increase in
the parking fees and the impact on the employees. It was suggested that the
questions from the handout be included in the Beeper in order to provide better
communication with the campus.
·
It was discussed that the Chair of the
Parking Advisory Committee should be contacted and a special session scheduled
for May to address these and other parking issues. All questions can be sent to
Michael Budd for compilation prior to the meeting.
·
The members discussed the addition of
the officers at the crosswalk and how they were beneficial and should remain
permanently.
·
Patrick Hatch suggested contacting UGA
to see how they handle their crosswalk issues.
·
Patrick Hatch discussed a UGA document
regarding a four day work week and asked if this would be a possibility at MCG.
