Biotelemetry Core LaboratoryBiotelemetry is the measurement of physiological variables in conscious, unrestrained animals. Traditional monitoring techniques, due to stress of immobilization, often cause dramatic alterations of measured variables. Our telemetry system enables continuous monitoring of motor activity, blood pressure and heart rate, as well as food and water intake and changes in body mass in small rodents (mice and rats).
