Doctor of Nursing Practice

The state's first Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, this program educates advanced nurse clinicians for expert practice in leadership and clinical roles. The program is offered at a number of distance sites across the state of Georgia.

The PhD Program prepares nurse scientists for research-intensive academic careers. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge development and dissemination through biobehavioral nursing research.  Our faculty are involved in ground-breaking research in such vital areas as health disparities, cancer prevention and control, cardiovascular risk reduction, and smoking cessation.
